Who is responsible

KEPRIZ AS (org.nr. 927 343 282), Rådyrlia 6, 3470 Slemmestad, Norway, is the controller for the processing described here.

What we process

Request data. When your browser contacts KEPRIZ, our servers receive your IP address and standard request information, such as your browser type. This is needed to deliver the site and answer your request.

Abuse protection. To keep the service available for everyone, we count requests per client, based on your IP address, in server memory and apply rate limits. A counter is deleted after at most 10 minutes without requests and is never written to storage.

The numbers you check. Lines you enter for a Check or an Improve preview are processed in memory to calculate the result. We do not store them and we do not collect them.

The KEPRIZ application does not log individual requests.

What we do not do

We do not use analytics or marketing tracking, and we do not profile you.

The free service has no accounts and takes no payments, so we hold no account, email or payment details.

We set no cookies for the free service, so there is no cookie banner. If you start a step that has to continue after the page reloads, your browser may keep temporary data in its session storage on your device. It is removed when you close the tab.

Legal basis

We process this data on the basis of our legitimate interests in providing the service, keeping it secure and preventing abuse (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). We do not use it for any other purpose.

Hosting and transfers

KEPRIZ is hosted by Render Services, Inc., which processes data on our behalf as our processor. Our services run in Render’s Frankfurt (EU Central) region.

Render’s primary processing may take place in the United States. Such transfers are protected by the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework where applicable and by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses where required.

On our current Render plan, available service/runtime logs are retained for 7 days. The KEPRIZ application does not write individual requests to these logs.

How long data is kept

Rate-limit counters: deleted after at most 10 minutes without requests.

Numbers you check: not kept after the result is returned.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, ask us to restrict processing, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Because we keep almost nothing, we may hold no data that we can link to you.

Changes

If our processing changes, for example if accounts or paid features are switched on, we will update this notice and its effective date before the change takes effect.
